More SA visitors......

John's sister, Catherine, and her
boyfriend Chris and friend Jono
came over from London to visit.

We tackled a trail in the beautiful Glenariff
Forest Park, followed by a RUGBY showdown
by the boys.

A good week-end of catching up, laughs
and reminising about varsity days!! 

70'S PARTY AT THE HOCKEY CLUB....

Cindy Schuster came over fron london
to visit us this week-end.

Most of Sat was spent shopping and
walking about the city centre looking for outfits for our 70's party that night.

Quite a few people had made an effort to dress up, so we didnt feel to much like fools.

Yet again we enjoyed a great function at the club!!

Walking through the Glens of Antrim...

Yesterday the temp reached 26 degrees
and we headed off to do some trail
walking.

We found a great spot in a forest park
and walked a 2 hour trail, stopping
for a picnic halfway.

We had a great day and will definitely
go back to explore more.

12th of JULY in Belfast......

Today was a national public holiday in Northern Ireland.

The reason for this is the Day of Marching in celebration of the
victory of 1690,when King William won the battle of the Boyne.

The country comes to a virtual standstill and most people take their annual leave over this time.

The marching was more like a street parade and attracted large crowds.

We can now say that we have fully experienced NORTHERN IRELAND!!

MOM and DAD M visit the UK....

My folks were in town for about 2 weeks
and had an absolute ball.

8. St Andrews, the home of golf
9. and many many SHOPS!!!!

They had a fantastic time and we are
so glad that we could show them around.

Thanks mom and dad for taking the time off to come and visit us, we really do appreciate it.

Lesley and Garth Scates were married
on Sat 1 July 2006.
An emotional wedding which will be
fondly remembered by all.


It was a beautiful sun filled day and the
bride looked stunning.

The church service was held in Comber ,
followed by a reception ar the
infamous Galgorm Manor.

Congrats to you both and thank-you for
including us in your big day!!
